What has passed, don’t bother seeking.
And don’t wish for what hasn’t arrived.
The days keep on passing never to return
And future days never quite come to pass.

Whoever sees clearly the manifest present
In all its truth brightly and openly

Can face things as they are and proceed.

So don’t delay in performing the duty of today,
