Where is the song that inspires wisdom and promotes Dhamma?

Why are there so many songs that stupefy youth and corrupt their character? One can listen all night to all kinds of media without hearing anything useful.

Even in the churches and temples, the songs are slightly addictive, including songs at funerals that “primitive people” would never stoop to.

Everything requires a song: starts with a song, ends with a song, with songs inserted in the middle. It looks like they breathe songs in this musical arts country*.

* This most likely refers to Thailand, yet can also apply to modern entertainment culture globally.
