Work is Dhamma practice, the students, politicians and economists who received degrees from aboard can’t understand this.
But our ancestors, especially the farmers, could understand and were happy when working, consequently their economy was “cool.”*
*“Cool” refers to Nibbāna, the quenching of the fires of greed, anger and delusion. To be “cool” in this sense is to be peaceful, healthy and harmless.
