The Five Khandhas #5
Buddhadāsa Bhikkhu explains how the burden of life arises through not understanding the reality of the five khandhas, not seeing the true nature of these things. He warns that not all kinds of vipassanā are correct, and tells us how to determine which are. He encourages us in the correct practice of vipassanā to develop the light to open the ‘Dhamma eye’ – the eye of wisdom – and get out of this sleep of not knowing which we’re sunk into. Lastly he urges us to study until experientially realizing the ultimate truth of the five khandhas, that they are anicca (impermanent), dukkha (unsatisfactory or afflicting), and anattā (not-self)
