8812 – [4 of 7] Controlling Paṭicca-samuppāda
Buddhadāsa Bhikkhu continues with a detailed explanation of how when there is craving, then there will be a mental or spiritual birth. He notes that every time there is birth, then there is suffering, and we must learn by observing how this occurs within ourselves. He encourages us to look and see how this stream of paṭiccasamuppāda occurs in daily life, and he explains in detail how this process works. Our duty is to regulate or control the flow of paṭiccasamuppāda so that suffering doesn’t occur.
This Dhamma teaching was offered by Tan Ajahn on 4th December 1988.
